This pattern was inspired by Florence Nightingale, social reformer, statistician and founder of modern nursing. It’s part of my 2022 project, “Above and Beyond - A Celebration of Women in History through Print and Pattern”.

This craft tool bag is perfect for knitting, crocheting or other art/craft projects when you’re on the go. This bag features hidden metal bars that keep the bag open.

- Unique screen printed fabric panels (front and back) with 2 exterior pockets on each side
- Chocolate Brown waxed canvas base fabric
- Six flat interior pockets plus four pen/hook/knitting needed slots
- Built-in metal bars to keep the bag open
- Durable construction, built to last
- YKK zipper

Exterior Dimensions: 14.5 inches wide x 11 inches high x 7 inches deep

I created the bag design, designed the front panel fabric, screen printed the fabric panel and then sewed it all together in Portland, Oregon.

Beautiful and high quality bag!

This bag is everything they say it is. Outstanding workmanship.

I love this bag! I was concerned about my yarn snagging on the zipper but it never has. I love that it stays open, and I’ve discovered a couple of other design perks. It holds a skein of yarn so that I can wind a ball without any tangles, and it works as pattern holder if I hold it on my lap-especially when I’m in the car.

OK..Stop Reading and Buy This Bag Already! I was not shopping for a "bag" to buy, but when I saw this bag - it stopped me in my tracks. I loved that Heidi used canvas and waxed canvas, I loved all the varied size interior pockets, and really loved the metal wide mouth opening. But when I saw that she screen prints her own designs and noticed that the pattern aligns perfectly from pocket to bag base, I KNEW she was an artisan who gives attention to detail. This bag is very well made, super roomy, has quality craftmanship throughout and is very comfortable on the shoulder. I haul a LOT of things from home studio to work studio - makes in progress, props, materials, hard drives. I got this to be my daily hither & thither bag...and I absolutely LOVE IT. It can hold standing file folders & water bottle as well.

Absolutely amazing bag. It's even better in person than in the pictures!
